About Sterling Defence

Sterling Defence has traded as a Registered Firearms Dealer since 2016. We sell rifles, shotguns, air rifles, ammunition, optics, safes and accessories, and we run the Sterling Defence Shooting Club from the same premises. We believe the two belong together: a good shop should be somewhere you can also learn, practise and belong.

Our premises

You are welcome to visit us in person. Our counter staff are happy to talk through calibres, fit, certificates and the reservation process without any pressure to buy. Certificate-controlled items are always collected in person or transferred to your local dealer - never posted.

Our credentials

We hold a current Registered Firearms Dealer certificate. Our RFD number is shown in the footer of every page and is available for any transfer or trade enquiry.

How we work

• Honest descriptions, including candid condition notes on used guns.
• Conservative compliance by default - if in doubt, we take the careful path.
• Clear pricing in pounds, with deposits and balances spelled out before you commit.
• Your data handled carefully and kept only as long as the law and good practice require.

The team

Our small team combines decades of range and trade experience. Every member of counter staff is trained on our certificate-verification and handover procedures, and the physical certificate check at collection is never skipped.
